loves it!
My daughter (almost 3yo) got this and a few other Calico Critters sets a month ago and I have never seen a child so thrilled for so long. She plays with these for at least an hour or more everyday and although prefers to play with other people, plays by herself with these too. We had to move these toys into a separate room because she was too excited to sleep or eat with them within eyeshot! I have never seen her like this!

We love Calico Critters !
My daughter recived this set for Christmas. I remember the Sylvanian Family from when I was young and was thrilled to see these again. This was our first peice from the Critters. She loves it, we have since added on the house, a few families, some more furniture, the family room and nursery. Both of my kids will play with this for hours. The pieces are small so we are very carfeful and put them away in a safe place after play. Great for imaganitive play.

A fun addition to the Calico Critters series!
The Calico Critters Nursery School is perfect for young ones who like to indulge in imaginative play. My little girl loves the critters and the nursery school enables her to play school with characters that are lovable and cute. There is just something magical about these little critters that mesmerised me when I was a child [back then they were called the sylvanian family and I had a few of them as a child] and continue to capture the imagination of kids today. Though a bit pricey for what you get, you can’t beat the many hours of play it provides a child!

Cute, Well Made
This set is very cute and it seems to be well made. It is our first Calico set and my daughter chose this one because it looks like our dog.

For the price we paid, $20, I have some disappointments:

The tails look like they belong on bushy squirrels rather than beagles. It is a soft pipe cleaner type material and is rather furry and odd for a beagle. Every one who sees the set thinks this is strange.

The bodies are off-color and slightly mismatched with the coloring on the heads, but I think I am the only one who will ever notice this.

Despite this, we will probably get a family of cats next because at the very least this set is much nicer than Littlest Pet Shop and ilk. I am just disappointed this was not the experience I expected for the price.

Very Cute!
These precious critters are very detailed and look as if they will last a long time. For the price they are very durable. My daughter holds them in her hand. I will definitely add to her collection with others!

This toy came, but the calico cat family was greatly delayed
The Beagle family was received on time as was the dalmation family. The kids loved them. However, for some reason the calico cat family was delayed and did not arrive until after Christmas. It was a huge disappointment. They all came from the same seller.
