Game for Fun4
My 9 year old HAD to have this for Christmas, she likes it but is too old for it. Our 4 year old daughter loves it, it’s a simple and fast game. Good for learning how to play games, taking turns being a good sport ect. I like that it’s not an involved game and find that I am willing to play it at almost anytime because of that. If you are looking for a game for more education purposes than I described, this is not the game. But if you want a simple fun game to just play and spend time with your child, this is a good one. Especially if they like Littlest Pets, they can use their favorite pet or any for that matter, as their mover. My daughters enjoys picking the movers out of their “collection”. Hope this was helpful.

Great game for preschoolers!5
My 4 year old received this game for her birthday. We play it almost everyday. She loves the cute characters. I love that it is fast and not too boring to play. It was easy for her to learn and the play can change in anyone’s favor, which keeps it interesting. Good game for trying to teach positive sportsmanship.

My Daughter Loves this game5
This is such a fun game. The pieces are so neat and they can play with the game pieces with other things. My daughter is 3 almost 4 and just loves playing it. I suspect she will be playing it for a long time to come as well.

My Girl Loves It!!!5
My 10 year old bought this game with her own money and she loves it. It is a neat little console that is easy for her to do herself, in that I don’t have to go set it up for her every time. The console has a little hatch on top that opens up for storage of the remote which I thought was a brilliant stroke of genius given the age level this game is for. The educational value has impresseed me thus far. It teaches that you have to do chores in order to buy things (although the chores are a bit pricey in my belief $20 to do the dishes???) and that your studies are important as well. It even touches on using your time wisely and social interaction. So I give this game an overall score of 5 stars!!

WOWOWOWOWOWOW5
This is a great game for that up and coming pre-teen in your home. You have asmall conmtroller with three buttons on it. You plug the game into the Tv and wala you are ready. THe game is basically like a SIMS for pre-teens girls. This means that you create a girl, her hair clothes ect. Kind of like the old paper dolls. Then you create a life for her. You create her room. You Get her into after school activities, you take her shopping, she even does chores. THis is a great game for a girl to learn about money and budgeting. But better than that. She will not think she is learning and thus she will enjoy it. Great game. Well worth the price.

Editorial Review
The classic carnival game of Whac-a-mole comes right into your house in this energetic and highly silly home version. The inherent cruelty of this game is tempered considerably by how much fun the moles appear to be having while receiving repeated blows to the head with big plastic mallets. It must help that each mole gets to wear a helmet, each a different color. One to four players can join in by whacking the critter in front of them during the “sign in” period at the beginning of the game. The object of the game, naturally, is to whack the moles as they pop up and players can choose to have them light up or not. Parents should be aware of course that they are giving big plastic mallets to very young children and the result will almost certainly be that one kid whacks another before too long. It’s just bound to happen. But if those energies can be re-directed toward the moles, this is a fun and silly way to play inside. –Charlie Williams

This Game Is A Blast! Highly Recommended!5
My son has been asking for this game for weeks, so we got it for him for Christmas. I admit, I thought it might be cheaply made, not to mention aggravating just by virtue of the “whacking”.

The moles themselves do not pop up. Rather, a light under their helmets go off, as well as a specific sound (for the easy game). For the hard game, it’s sound only.

Initially, there is a “sign in” period where you whack the mole that you want to be yours. This tells the game how many are playing (unless you chose the solo game). You are then told to listen for the sound of your particular mole. Each game, the sound is different. It could be a bird whistle, a cat’s meow, a dog bark, Duh!, Yoohoo!, Yeah!, etc. You’re then told to listen for the bonus sound.

You get a point when you whack your own mole, as well as when you whack your mole when the bonus sound is made. At the end of the game, you’re told who won, and how many points each player got.

My son is 6, and is sometimes not quick enough. But this game is great for reflexes, hand/eye coordination, etc. It’s a blast to play, and my son enjoys it, too…sometimes even requesting the hard version! (although it’s even more challenging for him to play audio only). Because the sounds change every game, it teaches listening skills and keeps the game fresh.

The plastic hammers are really soft, so they won’t do a whole lot of damage should your child choose to use them elsewhere! We’ve banged the heck out of this game so far, and have had no trouble with its performance…it works perfectly.

Highly recommended!

how lucky are we?4
Bought this at an outlet for $6 or 8 bucks. The name was vaguely familiar and liked the idea of an action game. We have had no problems for 9 months, still working great. The time element brings out the competative spirit (watch those fingers). My spouce and I play regularly and it has held up fine. It is still a fun break from too many educational toys, and still promotes speed and real focus. Our 4 and 6 year olds cannot play each other because the older one will bully the younger until she just stops. Like every other game, parental involvement is needed (such a pity so many find this a negative). Worth a try for a competative, energetic kid!
