If your preschooler loves your BlackBerry…buy this!5

I have long been a fan of LeapFrog Products and both of my children have benefited greatly from their innovative and highly educational products.

I bought this item yesterday and my 4-year-old loves it. We spent some time working on a few of the games and going through all of the letters and it does not disappoint. She was laughing out loud at some of the rhyming words for the letters and she feels like she has a BlackBerry like me, which is hilarious.

It also has the real QWERTY keyboard which is great since they will need to become familiar with it for real life.

I’ve given this company a lot of my hard earned cash over the last nine years but it has been worth it and all of the products can be passed down to other children.

This is one for the holiday gift list.

Lots of learning and role play fun…5
My 3 year old loves the games and the character Scout. She doesn’t even realize she is learning as she plays and helps Scout out with his missions. The toy is very durable and the screen is nice and large. SHe is learning the alphabet and thinks it is a phone like mine (blackberry phone). Cute..;)

I love this toy5
I bought this for my 20 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it. My daughter loves daddys laptop, cell phone, and game systems. I bought her this and it keeps her entertained long enough for me to get things done. Its, by far, her favorite toy and she doesnt let anyone play with it. I was really happy when I saw her playing by herself one day with the toy. She kept pushing the same button over and over and she would try to repeat what it was saying. This almost reminds me of those old Speak N Spells from way back in the day. Its quite durable and has proven that it can take a beating. Highly recommended.

LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table

It’s a learning fiesta for your little one. This interactive, bilingual activity table engages and entertains your baby for hours. There are songs, melodies, twinkling lights and real instrument sounds, plus lots of things to spin, roll, slide, open and close. The table plays over 40 songs and melodies so your baby stays entertained while exploring. When babies turn the center page, the activity table switches modes and transforms musical discoveries into learning activities where each instrument plays a learning song. The Learn and Groove Musical Table also helps your child develop the motor skills needed for learning to stand. Contoured grips make “pulling up” a piece of cake. As babies learn to stand, their little hands can stay busy with reaching, grabbing and pulling. Measures 23″ x 5.5″ x 15.5″. Requires 3 “AA” batteries (not included).

Fun for more ages than you might think4
I got this toy for 9-month-old twins, but I was suprised to find that two to five-year-olds are also amused by it. I would not buy it specifically for older children, but if your baby has older siblings, this will be a hit with them as well.

It can become a hazard once your child is able to climb. It can become a stepping stool onto higher, dangerous places (like bookshelves and toy cabinets).

Other than that, it is a fantastic toy. There is a variety of music in there, so it is not as annoying for parents as some other electronic toys. It is also very sturdy. Ours has been through some serious abuse (it has even gotten soaked in the rain) and it still works well. Despite all the keys and buttons, it is fairly easy to clean.

The only one worth getting5
My mom bought this table and I bought a Fisher Price table. The kids love the Leap Frog Table and hate the Fisher Price one. The Leap Frog one is awesome! It has two options, words or music. So for the little ones to whom words don’t mean much, you can use the music reinforcement and my toddler (age 2) likes the word option now. Great for around age 8 months when they start pulling up to stand. Love Love Love this table.

We love this toy!5
My daughter just got this for her first birthday and she loves it! Everything you touch on this table makes a noise – we especially love the trombone and the banjo. As you flip the pages to the “book” in the middle of the table, the songs and the sounds change. There are lots of movable parts for the kids to play with – the slide on the trombone moves, there is a slide on the violin, the banjo has a lever to pull, there is a barrel to roll, pages of the book to turn, shapes to press, and a compartment to open. It is very colorful and very sturdy, too. I would DEFINTELY reccomend this toy!

Concept Great…Construction Lacking3
I was so excited when I came across this toy. My 3 year old son loved the farm version of this toy when he was younger. I have 18 month old twins who also love the farm version, so when I saw this item I thought this would be a perfect addition to our refrigerator toy collection. It is educational and entertaining. However, Leapfrog changed the materials used and this “car wash” is not as sturdy as the farm we have from three years ago. The magnet isn’t very strong so the toy slides down the refrigerator door. This frustrates my children since they enjoy working on the puzzle while standing. I now give the toy to them while they sit in their highchairs. They enjoy making matches and the vehicles are quite cute. Overall, I still like the toy since it encourages problem solving. The music is also cute and isn’t too loud. From recent pictures I’ve seen of the farm, it looks to me as if it is different from the version I have so I am not sure that the problem I described is limited to this variation of the toy.

Love it!5
Got this toy for my son’s 1st birthday. He has the farm version at his Nana’s house and loves both toys! He carries them around, drops them frequently and pushes the buttons over and over… No problems. Neither one has slid down the fridge in the slightest and both take a beating and keep working great. I do like the voice on the farm version better but think the car wash one has more educational value since it says more information about each vehicle. Overall, I think it’s great!

No problems so far4
We have only had this toy for about a week, but have had no problems as in the other review. The toy has not slid down the fridge at all/no problems with the magnet. We, too, have the older version of the farm, and the newer versions of these toys ARE lighter and seem to be possibly less durable because of this. I guess time will tell on durability, but so far, this toy is exactly what I would expect (but I saw it in person, and knew it was lighter). I hope it holds up — my older versions of the LeapFrog fridge toys have been favorites, and have taken a beating, but still work fine.
