Good value
This is a great product. If the backboard falls off, who cares, the backboards look stupid anyway! Who needs a cardboard backboard when the net is connected to a door or wall! I didn’t even bother putting the friggin backboards on. The black foamish ball is light but still heavy and durable enough to be good for throwing. The rims are sturdy, they can sustain some slam dunks and rim hits. As for the nets, if you hit the rims too much or too hard the net may come off in one of the six places, but this is an easy fix with a bit of brain use and some tape. Just tape it down with some clear tape and it won’t come off. The sticky strips on the back of the thing that connects to the wall/door will stay adhered to the surface as long as you don’t move it from surface to surface. And if you do want to move it, you guessed…tape. Another easy fix.

Overall this is a good product even if you just use it by yourself. I just sit and throw it myself sometimes. But when you play with someone else, it is more fun, so try it both ways!

This is a great toy for kids and adults alike.

Good things come in small packages
My son just celebrated his 10th birthday, and this was one of the gifts I purchased for him. As always, he was thrilled to see the “Nerf” logo on the box when he unwrapped the package. He jokingly called the gun “puny”, but it packs a punch and shoots the darts a long way. The Velcro ends on the darts stick to the target quite well most of the time, and also stick to some types of clothing as well (which turns the toy into a different sort off “dart tag” game).

The one down side is that it only comes with three darts. Thankfully, I bought an extra package of darts at the same time as the toy. The company should include at least a dozen darts with the toy, as they do get lost or bent at times.

This toy made me a favorite aunt!
My nephew loves it. It keeps him busy long enough for his mom to finish some chores. He loves it.

Keeps em busy on rainy days.
For my 10 yr old for xmas. We use indoor and out. You really have to aim well, because the velcro cross must hit the board directly head on in order to stick to the velcro board. Gives him something to do mostly when he’s indoors. But he was thrilled to get it and everyone enjoys playing with it. GOGGLES included and you should WEAR THEM because a dart did bounce off the board and into my face even from 10 ft away.

Great game to get kids moving!
We just got this great game and my kids love it. They opened it, got the batteries in and were playing within minutes. I could hear them outside laughing and screaming. After about 15 minutes my oldest son (11) came in, covered with sweat, and said, “This is by far the best gift we have gotten!” I loved that they could figure it out themselves and that it was keeping them moving. It was a real workout! Great for my middle son, 9, who likes to play on the computer a bit too much. He was running around and laughing like crazy too. The boys even included their 5 y/o sister who had a blast. It is so cool how they wear colored bands on their hands and get to sign in by touching the ball. The ball calls out each color as they touch it. The game determines which color does what so no one can say someone isnt playing fair. Not one argument when they were playing. If you want a game that gets them moving and laughing this is the one!

not as fun as cosmic catch
My son got cosmic catch a few years ago for his birthday. He had a great time with cosmic catch with his friends but it broke (fairly quickly). He got cosmic keep away for his birthday a few months ago. The first few times he had a great times with his friends but their are far fewer options then with cosmic catch so he wished he had gotten a new cosmic catch. The main games with cosmic keep away are monkey in the middle and keep away games, which work best with three players. This toy is best played with 3-4 kids.
If you are deciding between cosmic catch and keep away, I would recomend the cosmic catch because it is good for 2-8 players and has more game choices. This product is still fun and I would much rather have the kids playing outside then inside with video games. The kids that have used this at my house range from 4-14. I would say the ideal age range is 7+. It moves a little fast for kids under 6.
